Video Documentary | Tech Women Nigeria Alumni

With a current 2:8 ratio of girls to boys in science classes, Africa is still ridden with low female participation in the ever-growing technology industry. However, with the creation of tech-inspired groups, a lot of focus is being pushed towards encouraging more women to pursue careers in STEM-related fields. Tech Women Nigeria Alumni is one of such groups working to address this issue.

Tech Women Nigeria Alumni is a gathering of fellows from TechWomen. TechWomen is an organization sponsored by the U.S Department of State that empowers, connects and supports the next generation of women leaders in STEM by providing them with the access and opportunities they need to advance their careers, pursue their dreams, and inspire women and girls in their communities to pursue STEM careers.

To communicate the impact of the Tech Women Nigerian Alumni we were tasked with producing a video documentary that tells a story of the work done by her Nigerian Alumni newtwork with focus on how effective the Tech Women mentorship program has been in enabling them to drive impact in their various communities.
